Q-1: How many residents can use an [m]Power?
A: In normal, individual-use mode, only one resident can use an [m]Power at a time. However, [m]Power can also be set-up for use by groups–small groups gathered around an [m]Power unit, or connected to a big screen TV, for larger groups.

Q-2: How many [m]Power units do I need?
A: For institutional use, care providers can register up to 20 users for every [m]Power they own. For example, to accommodate 120 residents, a care provider would need 6 [m]Power units. Residents can use any of the [m]Power units in their facility within their assigned pod (see below for an explanation of pods); up to 12 [m]Power units (maximum 240 individual users) can be accommodated in a single pod. There is no limit to the number of pods, and by extension, the number of users, that a facility may have.

Q-3: What's a Pod?
A: A Pod is simply a group of [m]Power units that communicate with each other. This communication allows any resident assigned to a pod to use any [m]Power within that pod. A facility may have one pod or many pods, depending on how their network is configured, the number of residents and any special needs that the facility or its residents may have.

Q-4: What are the technical requirements for Pods?
A: All the [m]Power units in a pod must be able to communicate with each other as well as with the servers at Dakim's office. Therefore, they must all be on the same physical subnet. If there are any routers, network bridges, etc., between two [m]Power units, those units must allow UDP Broadcast traffic to pass between the [m]Power units. In addition, all [m]Power units must be on the same IP address subnet. All [m]Power units will need access to the internet.
If your facility has, for example, two different buildings with different physical subnets joined by a router, then each building will need its own pod.
Although it is physically possible to assign a user to more than one pod, it is strongly recommended that you do not do so. [m]Power has been specifically designed to provide users with a fun, fresh experience each time they play, and uses information from previous sessions to determine future content and challenge levels. Therefore, a user who is assigned to more than one pod would see repeated content, and the level of challenge would not necessarily be based on their most recent [m]Power session. This increases the chance of boredom and frustration, and would not provide the user with the intended benefits of the [m]Power system.

Q-5: How many [m]Power units can be in a Pod?
A: The maximum number of [m]Power units in a single pod is 12, which can accommodate up to 240 users.

Q-6: Do I need an Internet connection to use the [m]Power?
A: Yes! Dakim’s [m]Power units update their content each night, so users will constantly see new, fresh content that keeps them entertained. To accomplish this, each [m]Power will need to be connected to the internet during our download window, which normally takes place overnight. For optimum performance with minimum maintenance, we recommend that you keep your [m]Power units connected to the internet at all times, if possible.
