Dan Michel DAN MICHEL
Founder
& Chief Executive Officer

Dan Michel, age 60, spent more than 30 years helping some of America’s most successful companies market and advertise their brands. Over the last twenty years, he was Chief Operating Officer of BBDO Worldwide/Los Angeles (1980-1988), President of Marketing of Columbia Pictures (1988-1989), and President and Co-Creative Director of his own award-winning, creative advertising agency, Michel/Russo, Inc., which he founded in 1989, and sold in 1999.

Dan's father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease in 1993. Based upon learning about the disease, and having gained firsthand experience participating in activities with his father, he recognized the therapeutic and emotional value of cognitively stimulating activities, and the pressing need for more effective means of providing this line of therapy for sufferers of Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementia.

Dan earned a B.A. from Claremont Men’s College (now Claremont McKenna College) and an M.S. from Northwestern University.

Jerry Robinson JERRY ROBINSON
Co-Founder, Chief Financial Officer
& Chief Technical Officer

Jerry Robinson’s, age 50, career has been marked by innovation, entrepreneurship and success. Jerry was the founder and CEO of two successful companies, Health for Life and JPR Engineering. He is also the author of numerous books, videos and commercial software programs.

Health For Life, which Jerry founded 1981 and sold in 2005, is a research and publishing company specializing in physical conditioning programs, produced in printed, audio and video formats, based on the latest scientific research. In a field plagued with fads and misinformation, Health For Life is recognized for providing its readers with the most accurate and current information possible—sophisticated enough for the professional, yet accessible to athletes at any level.

Two of Jerry’s 21 books published by Health For Life (The Seven Minute Rotator Cuff Solution and Max O2), are in use as teaching texts at the university level today. And three, including Legendary Abs, which has now sold well over a million copies worldwide, are best sellers.

JPR Engineering, which Robinson founded in 1980 and sold in 2005, is a consulting firm specializing in providing premium clients with turnkey, custom IT solutions for Mac, NT, UNIX, and LINUX platforms. JPR’s clients include Verizon, Nordstrom, Colorgraphics, R.R. Donnelley Financial, and The United States Secret Service.

Working through JPR Engineering, in conjunction with Electronic Data Systems, Robinson wrote the first-ever microcomputer software for micro-to-mainframe health care electronic claims submission for Blue Shield, in 1981. He has since designed and coded many custom financial packages including four custom business accounting applications and a Mac-based workflow management solution, completed in 2001, for the graphics and digital video industries.

Jerry graduated from Stanford University after completing advanced work in biomechanics. He also taught at Stanford for two years, using his own book, Conditioning to Win, as the text.

Tsach Gilboa TSACH GILBOA
Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer
& General Counsel

An international executive, attorney and entrepreneur, Tsach Gilboa, age 49, has successfully developed, streamlined and maximized the potential of established corporations on a global basis, as well as creating profitable start-up companies.

Tsach began his career as an entrepreneur in 1985, founding Gilboa Associates, where he successfully negotiated deals for international clients requiring assistance in planning, global business development, operations, joint ventures, government relations, financing, and contracts. His largest assignment was a $100 Million project involving US, Israeli, German and Ethiopian partners.

As General Counsel of Lear Astronics, Tsach helped the company diversify beyond its limited focus on Department of Defense business to establish a profitable international civilian business with customers that included Boeing, Saab Aviation, and the Government of Taiwan.

At the Walt Disney Company, as Director of Business and Legal Affairs, he was responsible for resolving worldwide intellectual property issues, eliminating an exposure of several hundred million dollars. Tsach’s negotiations enabled the company to cost-effectively exploit all of its original and on-going productions on a worldwide basis, in perpetuity. At the same time, he streamlined the Foreign Language Production group, allowing them to complete over 5000 productions in 45 countries, under budget and ahead of schedule, for four years running.

As Senior Vice President, International, of Herbalife, Tsach took the already successful business worldwide. In less than four years, he expanded Herbalife into 29 countries, generating over $250 million in profit, by creating and managing an expansion system that allowed numerous countries to open for business simultaneously.

Tsach earned a B.S. from Temple University, a B.A.H. from Gratz College and a J.D. from Whittier College School of Law. Tsach is a licensed California Attorney.

Rick began his sales & marketing career with the global eye health firm Bausch & Lomb. Over a ten-year period he contributed to the explosive growth of three divisions and ended his tenure as VP Sales of the Bushnell Sports Optics division.

In 1988 Rick pioneered the use of handheld GPS satellite navigation technology as one of the founders of Magellan Corporation.
